Current O'Connor is a life-long Activist who first realized his activism motivations at the very young age of between four and five. It was in this time spent with his mother at Camp Arrowhead in Natick Massachusetts that Current began "understanding that the world operates under a hierarchy based on a valuation system". Current evolved in this fight for the future of global sustainability and equity by intimately connecting with and examining the indigenous peoples of North America and around the world. Current has refined his Activism through an on the ground/Hands on approach.  

Through singing and composing music, writing provocative articles on corporate/government corruption like “Separation Anxiety”, and standing with indigenous activists in principles and power to protect our Earth's precious natural resources, Current has grown into an activist with razor sharp focus, an asset to Activism, and a credit to Activists. From 2016 to 2020 Current attempted to build his first sustainable communal living/work space but like many start-up communities, he found the social and environmental climates were not accommodating to that vision. In 2022 Current co-founded an artist-activist incubation center that successfully operated for over seven months. Current is no stranger to the stresses and pressures of “On The Ground” Activism having forged himself on the frontline of active war spaces like "Red Lake Treaty" and other indigenous land/water protection movements.
